Program Description

The Horticulture Associate in General Education curriculum is designed for the academic enrichments of students who wish to broaden their education, with an emphasis in horticulture. This program is intended for students who are specifically interested in pursuing a four-year Horticultural Science degree at North Carolina State University. This program is part of an articulation agreement between Alamance Community College and the Horticultural Science Department at North Carolina State University.  Course work includes study in the areas of horticulture, natural sciences, humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, and English composition.
