ACM 213 - Euthanasia 3 Credit Hour(s)
This course covers performance of euthanasia in a humane way to a variety of animal species. Topics include the physiological and pharmacological action of drugs used for euthanasia and instruction in the use of injectable and non-injectable drugs and gases. Upon completion, students should be able to discuss effective and humane euthanasia concepts and the necessity of euthanasia in specific animal care settings.
