BTC 250A - Principles of Genetics Lab

This course is designed to serve as a laboratory counterpart to BTC 250 Principles of Genetics. Emphasis is placed on laboratory experiences related to the topics covered in Principles of Genetics, including inheritance related to Mendelian genetics using Chi-Square analysis, molecular genetics, gene expression and molecular techniques related to genetic analysis. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of laboratory techniques as it relates to genetic studies and analyses.
