HSC 112 - Health Sciences Pharmacology

This course introduces principles of pharmacotherapeutic, pharmacodynamic, and pharmacokinetic properties of commonly prescribed drugs in each of the major drug classifications. Emphasis is placed on the national standards for safety in pharmacologic therapy and presents dosage calculations. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of pharmacology and safe lab practices.
