New Student Orientation

New student orientation is designed to help students feel connected, supported, and confident as they begin their journey at Alamance Community College. It’s a chance to meet faculty, staff, and other students, start building relationships, and get comfortable with the college environment. During orientation, students will learn how to navigate campus resources, understand important college policies, and discover the support services available to help them succeed. Students will also be introduced to strategies for success in the classroom, including effective study habits, time management, and how to engage with instructors and coursework. Importantly, students will be introduced to their chosen area of study and begin exploring career pathways aligned with their interests and goals.

Orientation is offered in both in-person and virtual formats.
