HTO 220 - Histotechnology Clinical

This course provides the entry-level histotechnician clinical experience in an approved clinical histology laboratory. Emphasis is placed on learning and performing routine laboratory operations and the production of a slide set for the practical component of the certification examination. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in histologic techniques and be prepared to apply to take the Histotechnician certification exam.
